Position Title: Data Analyst - Geospatial Specialist

Position Details:

This position is in the RFP stage. When awarded, the Senior Project Manager will be required to travel for this position.

The Data Analyst collects, processes, and analyzes data to assist in making informed decisions. Their job is to coordinate the transformation of raw data into meaningful insights by interpreting patterns, trends and relationships in the data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in /or applicable to the emergency disaster management field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relatable discipline. (Advanced degrees preferred)
  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • Experience with Geospatial Information Services
  • Experience developing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools for data visualization and analysis.

The contractor shall have access to data subscriptions which support business, economic, and supply chain analysis reporting. Data subscription types which would fulfill these requirements are:

  • Firmographic Data is a type of data that describes the attributes of a business or organization. These data points may include the industry, company size, revenue, location, employee count, and other important characteristics.
  • Supply Chain Data is information that is collected, analyzed, and communicated throughout a company's supply chain. It can include data from suppliers, distributors, warehouses, and other parties involved in the production of a product or service.
  • Movement Data is a collection of data through Global Positioning System (GPS) location events that tracks the movements of people, vehicles, and other objects.
  • Transactional Data is information that records the details of a business transaction or event, such as a sale, purchase, or inventory movement.
